Terms of Service

1. The Service

Site Sorted (sitesorted.co.nz) builds professional websites for New Zealand tradespeople. We use AI to generate websites quickly, then review and refine the output before delivery.

By using our service or making a payment, you agree to these terms.

2. Free Preview

We offer a free website preview before any payment is required. You can review your site, request changes, and decide if you want to proceed. No payment is taken until you're ready to go live.

The preview is hosted temporarily and may be removed after 30 days if no payment is made.

3. What You Get

We offer three plans:

• Starter ($299 NZD): A one-page website with your business info, mobile-friendly design, and hosting
• Pro ($499 NZD): Up to 4 pages, project gallery, SEO setup, Google Reviews, and 1 AI revision per month
• Growth ($799 NZD): Up to 6 pages, contact form, testimonials section, 2 AI revisions per month, and priority turnaround

All plans include a free subdomain (e.g. yourbusiness.sitesorted.co.nz) and help connecting a custom domain if you have one.

4. Payment

The one-time setup fee ($299, $499, or $799 NZD depending on plan) is charged once. Hosting is $49 NZD per month on Starter and Pro, $99 NZD per month on Growth, billed monthly. All prices include GST where applicable.

We do not offer refunds once your site has been deployed live. If you change your mind before going live, contact us and we'll work something out.

5. Your Content

You own your business content: your name, logo, photos, text, and any other material you provide. You grant Site Sorted a licence to host and display that content as part of your website.

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use any content you supply. Don't send us images or text you don't own.

6. Our Work

The website design, code, and templates are owned by Site Sorted. Once you've paid, you have a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use your website as delivered. You can't resell the design or use it to build other websites.

7. AI Generation

Your website is built using AI tools. We review everything before delivery, but AI isn't perfect. We can't guarantee the output will be error-free or meet every expectation on the first pass. That's what the revision round is for.

We don't use AI to generate fake reviews, misleading claims, or content that misrepresents your business.

8. Hosting

Hosting is $49 NZD per month on Starter and Pro, $99 NZD per month on Growth. We currently host on Vercel and may move to a different provider if needed. We'll do our best to keep your site online, but we don't offer a formal uptime SLA. You can cancel hosting any time.

We're not responsible for downtime caused by third-party hosting providers or things outside our control.

9. Custom Domains

Custom domains (e.g. yourbusiness.co.nz) are optional and purchased separately through a domain registrar of your choice. We'll help you connect your domain to your Site Sorted website at no extra charge.

We don't own or manage your domain. Domain renewals are your responsibility.

10. Revisions

AI-powered revisions are included with your monthly hosting: 1 per month on Starter and Pro, 2 per month on Growth. Describe what you want changed in plain English and we'll rebuild it. We'll do our best to accommodate reasonable requests.

Additional revision rounds may be available at our discretion. Get in touch if you need more changes after launch.

11. Termination

Either party can end the arrangement. If we need to take your site down, we'll try to give 30 days notice so you can make alternative arrangements.

We reserve the right to remove sites immediately if they contain illegal content, violate these terms, or put us or others at risk.

12. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your plan. We're not liable for any indirect losses, including lost business, lost revenue, or reputational damage.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act where those apply.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in New Zealand courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
